Sorom provides mobile travel applications and a website with a lean web app. The brand carries the invitation “come join me.”

Sorom helps travelers plan, organize, and share every stage of their trips. The app provides:

• AI Trip Planning (Maya): mobile assistance for travel research and editable itinerary drafts, subject to current allowances and information accuracy.
• Collaborative Itineraries — Multi-person trip plans with activity voting, three-way expense splitting, and export to PDF, iCal, or text.
• Live Flight Tracking — Real-time flight status with gate change, delay, and cancellation alerts.
• Email Import — Forward booking confirmation emails to auto-populate your itinerary with flight, hotel, and activity details.
• Safety Tools: mobile check-ins, contact-alert workflows, optional provider identity checks and a separate meetup PIN. These tools do not guarantee safety or replace emergency services.
• ConneXions — Personality-based traveler matching using the Big Five personality quiz, with travel-style and destination compatibility.
• Price Check: eligible hotel, transfer and package requests may receive available quotes after review. Availability and savings are not guaranteed.
• Journals & Moments — Document your travels with photo journals and 48-hour Moments shared with the community.
• Interesting Places — Community-driven discovery of hidden gems and local favorites across 13 categories.

Google OAuth2 — What We Access and Why

Where Google Sign-In is offered, it provides a way to create or access a Sorom account. The lean web app also supports email-and-password registration. The disclosed Google sign-in integration uses:

The Google sign-in integration requests authentication and basic profile information. It does not request access to Google contacts, Calendar, Drive or Gmail content. Separate Sorom map and place-search features have their own disclosed data processing.

How your data is stored

Your account data is stored securely in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with row-level security (RLS) policies enforced. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. You can update or delete your profile information at any time within the app, and you can request full account deletion from Settings > Account > Delete Account or via our account deletion page.

Who has access

Profile details such as display name and photo may be visible through the community or sharing features you use. Sorom and its service providers process account information as described in the Privacy Policy. Sorom does not sell or rent Google account data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

Specifically, Sorom:

• Only requests access to data that is necessary for the app's functionality (authentication and profile display).
• Does not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
• Does not allow humans to read your Google user data unless: (a) we have your explicit consent, (b) it is necessary for security purposes (e.g., investigating abuse), or (c) it is required to comply with applicable law.
• Does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the app's features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger/acquisition with adequate data protection.

Revoking Access

You can disconnect Sorom from your Google account at any time:

• Visit Google Account Permissions and remove Sorom from the list of connected apps.
• Within the Sorom app, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account to remove your Sorom account entirely.

Revoking Google access does not itself delete your Sorom account. Use the account-deletion process to request deletion under the applicable retention and legal requirements; external copies cannot be recalled.
