Browse fellow travelers with a clear compatibility score. Match one-on-one, join a group, or use Live ConneXions to find people to travel with nearby right now.

4. Arrange a careful first meeting

Chat in the mobile app, agree a public meeting place and keep independent transport available. A meetup PIN links the encounter to a Sorom account; it does not establish government identity. Configure any check-ins and agree a backup contact method.

Join a Circle

Not every connection has to start one-on-one. Circles are Meetup-style group activities hosted by travelers and locals: coffee meetups, food crawls, museum walks, and more, each with a set time, an exact meeting point, and a spot cap so groups stay a comfortable size.

Built for peace of mind

Sorom’s mobile safety tools can support precautions when meeting people. They depend on setup, permissions and service availability, and cannot guarantee anyone’s identity, intentions or behavior.

Meet fellow travelers with confidence

ID verification: an optional provider check of government-ID and selfie information, where eligible. A badge describes a completed process; it does not guarantee good behavior or safety.

Meetup PIN: a code exchanged through the app to link the meeting to a Sorom account. It is separate from government-ID verification.

GPS check-ins: configured emergency contacts can receive alerts after missed check-ins, subject to the current settings, permissions, connectivity and service availability.

Panic button: request the supported contact-alert workflow in the mobile app. It does not replace a direct call to local emergency services.
